FIVB President Ary Graca and CAVB President with the Rwandan National Olympic Committee President Robert Bayigamba_resize

 Kigali, Rwanda, December 5, 2013- International Volleyball Federation "FIVB" President Ary Graça Filho arrived to Kigali, Rwanda on Thursday to attend the 2013 CAVB Congress to meet on December 7 an 8, 2013 in Serena Hotel.

 

 Graça is accompanied by FIVB first Vice President and NORCECA Confederation President Cristobal Marte Hoffiz who will share also in the activities of Congress.

 

 CAVB President and FIVB Vice president De Amr Elwani received the FIVB guests of honour in Kigali Airport where they had the chance to meet the media as Graça had long interview with the Rwandan TV and Media. Elwani was accompanied by CAVB Vice presidents Iddris Dokony, Monir Benslimane and Board member Louis Timba as well as President of Rwanda National Olympic Committee Robert Bayigamba and Rwanda Volleyball Federation President Gustave Nkurunziza.

  

Dr. Graça and Marte will participate also in the Executive Committee and Board of Administration meetings on December 6 beside separate meetings with different continental zones.

 

 "It is an honour to receive Dr. Graça Filho in Africa ahead of the congress to see one of the development activities in the Central African country and evaluate the progress of African Volleyball," Said Dr Elwani.

 

  "Africa had a lot of progress in the last few years but jumped a lot of steps during the era of Graça due t his developmental mentality specially in Beach Volleyball field like the Continental Cup.
