Bursa, Turkey, June 29, 2014- In the first semi final game of the 2014 FIVB World League Group 3 Finals, China and Cuba faced in a five-set thriller and Cuba won 3-2 eventually. But China’s 33 year-old spiker Yuan Zhi shined with a great performance.
Yuan, who is 1.95 meters tall and reach 3.48 meters on attack, scored 37 points for his team. And he achieved the best scoring performance in the 2014 FIVB World League so far. He made 31 spikes, 5 aces and a block point.
China’s star said that he displayed a good performance because of his teammates contribution: “I did not think how many points I can score before the match. We lost the game and we regret it.
