Niger and Sierra Leone capture gold at CAVB U21 Beach Cup

 Niamey, Niger, May 19, 2014- Niger Men's and Sierra Leone Women's U21 beach volleyball teams claimed the gold medals at 2014 CAVB U21 Beach Cup held in Niamey, Niger this weekend.

 

 On the other hand Sierra Leone and Nigeria joined Niger to book their tickets to the FIVB BV World Championship in Larnaka, Cyprus, 23 - 27 July 2014 after they gained the silver and bronze medals respectively.

 

 In the Women's Category Nigeria and Benin won the silver and bronze medals respectively to join the gold medalists Sierra Leone to the World Championship.

 

 The competition attracted a lot of printed and electronic media who covered the competition and made interviews with the Secretary General of the National Olympic Committee and the Director of Sport in Niamey.
