Zurich, Switzerland, May 7, 2014- The eighth edition of the FIVB Women's Club World Championship will be the most difficult competition in the opinion of Brazil's Molico Osasco coach Luizomar de Moura in the competition which will go underway at Saalsporthalle in Zurich, Switzerland on Wednesday.
"It is a great honour to be here in the World Championship. We are very thankful to the FIVB and the organisers for giving us the opportunity to play her through the wild card we had,"Luizomar said.
"We know our task here will not easy as we had here the best teams in the world. This the strongest ever World Championship because we had here the strongest teams."
"Now we are at the end of the season and in good physical and mental state, so we are fighting to get a final berth here,"
"The stars of this competition are too many and so we expect to see a lot of them in their utmost performance in most of the like Fabiana, Sheilla Castro, Ekaterina Gamova and others, so it will not be easy for a team to gain the gold medal hers."
Molico Osasco could make history as the first team ever to win the prestigious FIVB Volleyball Women’s Club World Championship title twice.
Molico Osasco will face two of these title-contenders in the preliminary pool. After the opening match against Hisamitsu Springs on Wednesday one of the hot favourites to win the tournament awaits in the preliminary round, in the form of Dinamo Kazan on Friday.
