CAVB to organise a women international referee course in Kenya

Cairo, Egypt, March 2014- The African Volleyball Confederation "CAVB" will organize the first International Candidate Referee course only for female referees in Nairobi, Kenya March 3 to 11, 2014 in the framework of the CAVB strategic plan.


 The course will involve 18 female referees from 10 countries; Egypt, Uganda, Cameroon Tunisia, Kenya, South Africa, Ethiopia, Rwanda, Burundi and Zimbabwe with the last 5 countries searching for their first ever female referee.


 The course will be directed by FIVB and CAVB refereeing commission president and instructed by Jacek Spisak.


 The main goal of the course is to increase the number and effectiveness of the women referees in the whole continent. African started since 4 years to work hard for the female referees and succeeded to add more than 25 volleyball and beach volleyball referees in the last few years.
