FIVB President received by Dr Elwani and the African delegations

Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso, October 22, 2011- FIVB President Jizhong Wei arrived to Burkina Faso Capital of Ouagadougou late on Saturday for a short visit to the west African Country to attend the extra ordinary meeting of the African Zone III which show 11 countries presented during which the president of the Republic Mr. Compaore Blaise will receive the delegations in the presidential palace.
In his short visit to Burkina the FIVB President will attend the African meeting on Sunday joined by the FIVB Vice President and CAVB President Dr Amr Elwani, the FIVB Board member and CAVB Treasurer Habu Gumel as will as the representatives of the NFs from Togo, Niger, Senegal, Gambia, Ghana, Algeria, Guinea Conakry, Nigeria, Tunisia and the host Burkina.
He will also attend an international friendly match between Burkina Faso and Niger women and men teams in the newly established Sports Complex “Palais Des Sports” in Burkina capital later in the afternoon.
Mr Wei will honor the main sponsor of the West African Countries Gilbert Diendere who was behind the condensed activity of the zone, and then he will honor the President of the Republic on Monday with the highest CAVB Order.
“I’m happy with my second visit to Africa within a month after I have been to Morocco last month to know from near the African situation and see how they used the facilities prepared by the FIVB to Progress,” Said Wei upon his arrival to the Airport.
