The African beach VB competition will be held in 2 phases; Zonal phase which qualify the top teams to the CAVB Cup finals where the six top ranked teams clinch the World Champs tickets.

Africa organised since 2 years the CAVB Cup for U19, U21 and U23 before the new age category U17 will be introduced for the first time in 2014.

"The new event will be a good occasion for African NFs to create new generations of younger age, which will sure reflect on more progress of the sport in Africa," said CAVB Beach Director May Alaa.
