Pool R- Day 2 Botswana and Mozambique continue victories at Zone 6 World Champs qualifier

 Lusaka, Zambia, October 23, 2013- Heavy favourites Botswana set their second win over Swaziland 3-0 (25-9, 25-10, 25-15) in the second day of the 2014 FIVB Women's World Championship Zone 6 qualification tournament (Pool R) in Lusaka, Zambia on Wednesday.

 

 The second day featured also a second win for Mozambique over Namibia 3-0 (25-19, 25-13, 25-12), while host Zambia suffered the first defeat against Zimbabwe 3-1 (20-25, 25-16, 25-21, 25-16)

 

 Now Botswana led the 6 nation tournament with a win- loss ratio of 2-0 (6 points) ahead of Mozambique 2-0 (5 pts). Zimbabwe came third with 1-1 (4 pts), while Zambia ranked fourth 1-1 (3 pts). Both Namibia and Swaziland are 0-2 (0 pts).

 

 The top two teams of this tournament will proceed to the finals of the qualifier to be held in January 2014.
