Dakar Center host Candidate Referee Course

Dakar, Senegal, October 22, 2013- A Candidate International Referee Course started on October 21 at Dakar Development Center with the attendance of 17 referees from 11 nationalities in one of the biggest events of the year in the West African Center.

 

 The opening ceremony was organised at Leopold Sedar Senghor stadium and conducted under the authority of Alioune Mbaye Diakhaté Director of Training representing the Minister of Sport and attended by Cécile Faye General Secretary of Senegalese National Olympic committee, Director of The Leopold Sedar Senghor Stadium, Mamadou Ndoye President of the Senegalese VB Federation, Mr Mbaye DEME Director of the Centre of Dakar.

 

 The course showed three women referees in the framework of CAVB Strategic plan which put special interest to the women activity in the different categories.

 

 It is directed by Hassan Ahmed FIVB and CAVB Refereeing Commission President and Jacek Spisak, the member of FIVB Rules of the Games Commission.
