The CAVB high performance Coaches Seminar.. a new step of development

 Cairo, Egypt, May 11, 2011- The second CAVB High Performance Coaches Seminar that ended last month in Morocco was another big stage in the long run African Strategic Planning with the groundbreaking attendance of 56 participants from three different continents.
 The Seminar which deals with the top level coaches was instructed by Fredric Trouve from France and Sherif El Shemerly from Egypt who are experienced FIVB instructors.
 The closure ceremony was attended by CAVB Vice President and Morocco Volleyball Federation President Abdel Hadi Ghzali, the Public relations Director Mrs Touria Aarab as well as most of the Morocco Volleyball Federation Board members.
 Ghzali thanked the CAVB and its president Dr. Amr Elwani for giving Morocco the opportunity to organize such fruitful seminar in the country. “We are happy to see the best coaches all over the continent here exchanging the ideas about all the new techniques and tactics of the sport in the aim to improve our standard,” Said Ghzali.
 The seminar attracted also a lot of media in Morocco as well as the TV channels that transmitted a big part of the theoretical and practical sessions and the closure ceremony.    
 The seminar featured practical workshop about serving and receiving systems, practice methodology, relation setter/spiker and team development. Among other major issue the seminar had special sessions about the Libero function.
 The participants expressed their thanks to the CAVB and the instructors for the technical information they had during the seminar which will be very useful when they transfer these information to their countries.
 The theoretical and practical sessions were attended by most of the Morocco Volleyball Federation Board members led by the president Abdel Hadi Ghzali, Lahcen Chater, Touria Aarab and Belkayed as well as the technical Director of the federation Moustafa Ahchouche who is also FIVB instructor and the CAVB Coaches Commission member Habib Mohamed.
 The High Performance seminar is considered one of the major items of the Development strategy of the CAVB that was launched last year by the first edition in Cairo, Egypt with the attendance of more than 100 participants.
