Algeria to organise the third CAVB High Performance Seminar

Cairo, Egypt, September 6, 2013- African volleyball confederation "CAVB" will organize the third edition of the Coaches' High Performance Seminar in Algeria October 9 to 14 October 2013.

 The course comes in the framework of implementation of CAVB Strategic Plan to develop, spread and activate the Volleyball all over Africa through the attraction and participation of the youth and junior in CAVB activities and in order to implement and enhance the performance of the volleyball in Africa.  

 

 The seminar aims to develop the Volleyball in Africa and earn high image on the world level through activating the major development elements of the African National teams' performance using the newest advanced methods.

 

 Among other main topics, the seminar covers team development, teaching and understanding the fundamental skills (Pass, Set, Spike, Serve, Block and Dig) and training ideas for the libero.

 

 CAVB will cover the seminar and accommodations fees for two participants from each National federation. An additional participant may be accepted if a female is one of the proposed participants.

 

Invited personnel will be from each of the following categories: National Federations Leaders (President, General Secretaries or Board Members), Volleyball Coaches and Team Managers or any Technical Official Representative (club or National team).

 

 CAVB organised the first High performance seminar in Cairo 2010 and the second in Morocco in 2011.
