FIVB Beach Volleyball Swatch World Championship 2009

Agadir, Morocco, September 28, 2011 – Morocco is ramping up publicity ahead of the FIVB Beach Volleyball Swatch World Tour Agadir Men’s Open, set to run from October 4 to 9.
It is the first time the north-African country has hosted a tournament on the Tour and some of the top names in beach volleyball will arrive in the city next week as the FFIVB continues to break into new areas.
Morocco will become the second country in Africa to host an event on the circuit following numerous tournaments in Cape Town and Durban, South Africa.
A total of 30.000 flyers have already been distributed across the region while 3,000 posters and 120 street banners have been erected around the host city.
There is also a giant street banner more than 13 metres high on show in the heart of the city.
The bustling tourist city has country has previously welcomed FIVB beach volleyball action on three previous occasions, with Challenger events being held in the country in Casablanca n 2004, 2005 and 2006
