Cameroon and RD Congo secure second round tickets

 

Ndjamena, Chad, July 7, 2013- Heavy favourite Cameroon as well as RD Congo both secured second round tickets at the African qualifier for the 2014 Men's World Championship held in Ndjamena, Chad on Friday.

 

 Cameroon hammered host Chad in straight sets after they also took over Gabon in the opening day to improve the win- loss ratio to 2-0.

 

 RD Congo also flew past Gabon 3-1 after they were already overcoming Chad in the opening to improve to 2-0 and join Cameroon to the zonal phase of the qualifiers next October.

 

 Cameroon meet Congo in the third and final day for the gold medal, while Gabon face Chad for the bronze medal.
