Botswana lead after second win

 

Maputo, Mozambique, July 5, 2013- Botswana Women's Volleyball team continued their victories at the African Qualification Tournament  for the 2014 FIVB Women's World Championship held in Maputo, Mozambique on Thursday.

 

 Beating Lesotho 3-0 (25-10, 25-16, 25-15), Botswana improved their win- loss ratio to 2-0 in the second day, while the losers dropped to 0-2.

 

 Meanwhile Swaziland surprised host Mozambique to win a long Marathon 3-2 (23-25, 25-15, 25-19, 20-25, 15-12) in the competition's most exciting match as both teams became 1-1 ahead of the third and final day of the 4 nation round robin tournament on Saturday.

 

 Mozambique face Botswana, while Swaziland meet Lesotho on Saturday as the top three teams of this tournament proceed to the zonal phase of the qualifications to be held next October and November 2013.
