Mozambique starts the long way to 2014 World Championships

Maputo, Mozambique, July 3, 2013- The long way to the prestigious 2014 FIVB World championship will start from Mozambique capital of Maputo on Wednesday when Group J men and women tournaments get underway in the sub zonal phase of the qualifier.

 

 Both men and women tournaments comprise 4 teams playing a round robin format to determine the qualifier to the second phase which is the zonal stage. Host Mozambique as well as Lesotho, Botswana and Swaziland will be taking part in both genders.

 

 The top three teams in each gender will proceed to the zonal phase to be held next October.

 

Match Schedule Men and Women  

July 3: Botswana v Swaziland

            Lesotho v Mozambique

July 4: Swaziland v Mozambique

            Botswana v Lesotho

July 5: Lesotho v Swaziland

            Mozambique v Botswana
