Kenya Beach Volleyball teams heads for Burundi Beach Tour

Nairobi, Kenya, February 21, 2013- Kenya beach volleyball teams have left by road to participate in an invitational tournament scheduled for February 23-24, 2013 in Bujumbura, Burundi.

 The two women's pairs have Naomi Too (Nairobi Water)/Agripina Kundu (Pipeline) and Edna Rotich (Ulinzi)/Eunice Maiyo (KCB). Silas Makiso (Ulinzi)/Elisha Aliwa (Ulinzi), Bernard Musumba (GSU)/Alex Kariuki (GSU) form men’s teams.

 Kenya Volleyball Federation beach volleyball commission member Ben Juma said that the players were selected on basis of having been tested before in the beach sport. Rwanda based Kenyan coach Sammy Mulinge will link up with the team in Bujumbura.
