Holiday clinic for players launched at Nkumba University in Uganda

Entebbe, Uganda, February 3, 2013- Nkumba University Volleyball Club the home of four- times Uganda National Ladies League Champions has launched its first holiday clinic for players in the Under 19 category. The clinic was opened by Uganda Volleyball Federation President Mr. Sadik Nasiwu on 10th January 2013 at the University campus in Entebbe. The clinic is intended to help pass on skills to young players who are the future players of Volleyball.

 

 

 Thirty three participants including 8 boys and 25 girls have camped for the residential training which is conducted by Level 2 coach and coach of the women’s national team Mr. Tonny Lakony. The participants are having theory, video and practical sessions with special talks from different personalities in areas like career guidance and counseling. The clinic was run till 20th January, 2013.
