While Brian Mugabowingabo said” we have done all our best to win them but it didn’t work, we will not give up and I think it is good for us because we played well; our vision is to play on international level and to represent our lovely country (Burundi). we wait them home next year and I think we will do the same as they did for us here; normally our tactic is based on service and the wind but here there was no wind so we could not be successful; the tournament was well organized and we thank the organizing forum which invited us thank you”.

In the women's side the final match was played between the couple of Denise Mutatsimpundu and Charlotte Ndayisenga also the African junior BVB champions 2012 against Yvette Igihozo /Angelique Uwimbabazi where the former team won 2-0 (21-16, 21-13).
