Cairo, Egypt, December 26, 2012- Nigeria will return back to the African volleyball events when they host the final phase of Women's Junior "U 20" African Nations Championship in Abuja in March 13 to 19, 2013. This edition will be the first in the history to have zonal qualifications throughout the 7 continental zones.
The competition acts as a qualifier for the World Championship of this age category as the top three teams will secure their tickets to the FIVB World championship to be held in Czech Republic later in 2013.
Nigeria is expected to feature all the continental big forces like the defending champions, runner up Tunisia, Algeria, Kenya, the host Nigeria and the new comers Rwanda.
