Maun, Botswana, November 29, 2012- Over 800 children under the age of 14 took part in the Mini Volley Festival organized by Botswana Volleyball Federation in conjunction with Botswana Primary School sporting Association in Maun from November 28 to 29, 2012. The Festival started well on Wednesday with preliminaries at Maun Stadium.
The event was officially opened by the Managing Director of LTS Enterprises who is the main sponsor of the event. The preliminaries were completed where the last sixteen teams played the finals.
The last sixteen teams in the boys category are the following schools : Plateu, Modipane, St Patricks, Palapye Central, Mogorosi, Goodhope, Maposa, Makaba, Mmashoro, Xakao,Masunga, Matshilojer, Phatsimo, Metsimantsho, Tawana, Ramonaka.
Girls are Moshaweng, Mmusi, Goo Tau, Boswelakgomo, Makaba, Tawana, Oodi, Soroga, Parakariungu, Palteu, Khuduga, Palapye Central, Mokubilo, Phatsimo, Mpatane, Shakawe,
The Festival showed a great success as a number of prospects players have been identified like the 1.93m and 12 year boy Joseph Undreson and Selibe Phikweand.
