Reunion clinch both men and women gold

Tananarive, Madagascar, November 27, 2012- Tampon Geko Volley men's team and Saint Denis Olympique women's team from Reunion Islands captured the gold medals of Zone 7 Club Championship held at Palais des Sports Hall throughout this week in Tananarive, Madagascar.

 

 Tampon Geko Volley took over Faucon Flacq Camp Ithier of Mauritius in the exciting men's final match 3-1 (28-26, 14-25, 26-24, 25-23) to clinch the gold medal.

 

 In the women's final Saint Denis Olympique follow the footsteps of their men counterparts as they trounced Stef Auto of Mauritius 25-13, 25-13, 25-22 to pick up the gold medals.

 

 Hosts AS Tiavo of Madagascar won the men's bronze after defeating Riviere du Rempart of Mauritius 3-1 (18-25, 25-23, 25-18, 25-22), while Volley Club de Cote ouest women from Reunion completed the women's podium after taking over VC Diamant of Madagascar in straight sets 25-19, 25-14, 27-25.
