Volley All Festival completed in Senegal

Dakar, Senegal, October 15, 2012 – Dakar played host to a Volley All festival for youth on October 6 at the city’s Place de l’obélisque. 

Over 800 children were drawn to the all-day event, which featured instruction and community-building. It provided teachers and administrators a chance to connect with local youths, and the Dakar municipality joined the Senegal Volleyball Association and the Dakar league in sponsoring the event.

Organisers were pleased with the level of attendance achieved, as well as with the media attention they attracted. Print, radio and TV all reported on the initiative.
