Cairo, Egypt, September 6, 2012- African Volleyball Confederation “CAVB” Board of Administration met in Cairo, Egypt on Thursday presided by Dr Amr Elwani, 24 hours ahead of the 2012 CAVB Extra Ordinary Congress due to start on Friday.
Among other important items, the board discussed implementation of the last board minutes dated February 18 and 19, 2012 specially the continuation of the ambitious Development Strategic Plan and the evaluation of the zonal activities since the last Congress.
The board also discussed the constitution amendments that will be presented during the Extra Ordinary Congress.
The new format for the Age Group championships that secure increased number of participating countries through the zonal qualifications was also on the table of discussion before being presented to the Congress.
Mr Emilio Spirito from Italy presented the Data Project that will be applied for African competitions to upload the official web site with the results, statistics and live scores.
