Kampala, Uganda, July 22, 2012- Uganda volleyball federation successfully concluded a CAVB Management course which ran from 10th- 13th July 2012 at Makerere University Business School. The course registered 23 participants from various clubs, universities and schools across the country.
The course instructor Dr. Tesfay Asgedom from Ethiopia was happy with the federation’s efforts of attracting various courses for the volleyball fraternity and the composition of the course participants.
At the closing ceremony which was presided over by Assistant General Secretary of National Council of Sports Mr. Nicolas Muramagi and Mr. Nasiwu Sadik the president of Uganda volleyball federation,
“I want to thank African Volleyball Confederation “CAVB” for support in the development of the managers of volleyball,” Sadik said. “This will go a long way to uplift the management of volleyball in the country.”
All the 23 participants received certificates at the closing ceremony which was covered by the local media.
