Mozambique beach team fly to Moscow to chase final Olympic ticket

Maputo, Mozambique, June 26, 2012- Mozambique Beach volleyball team comprising of Cumbi Amelia/ Cumbi Rezia and Cossa Guilhermina/ Chngo Satira will leave for the Russian capital of Moscow on Tuesday to compete in FIVB Beach Volleyball World Cup to take place on June 28 to July 1

 Mozambique won the bronze medal in the CAVB Continental Cup in Rwanda last month after beating South Africa in a thrilling golden set determiner in the third place match.

 The emerging beach team won the gold medal in both sub zonal and zonal phases of the CAVB Continental Cup.

Now Mozambique will compete with the second and third of each confederation to determine the last two slots in the 2012 London Olympic Games.
