Gusenyi, Rwanda, May 26,2012 – All Africa Games gold medallists Mauritius sealed their tickets to 2012 London Olympic Games following their tough victory over Kenya after a thrilling golden set in the final of CAVB Women’s Continental Cup final at Palm Beach in Gusenyi, Rwanda on Saturday.
In the Bronze medal match Mozambique took over South Africa to clinch the third place leaving the loser in the fourth position.
This is the second gold medal for Mauritius after they won All Africa Games beach gold in September 2011 and now they will represent the continent in the Olympic games. Kenya and Mozambique have another chance to qualify for the Olympic through the FIVB World Cup.
The final showed a lot of exciting moments till Mauritus draw with Kenya 2-2 and the situation was settled by the golden set
