Lome, Togo, February 26, 2011- The Togo Volleyball Federation (FTVB) organized a successful festival for volleyball at school which was a great opportunity to bring more players to the sport through the attractive Programme prepared by the federation in the framework of its development plan.
The festival which is organized for the third year in a row featured a promotion to the sport and then matches with full teams 6 against 6 at the mini volley, Youth and Junior levels.
The festival included also special courses for the teachers of physical fitness who had a special training on how to deal with the children at this young age.
"We are satisfied with the outcome of this festival as it because it allows the players and coaches to start the professional volleyball," Said FTVB president Ayaovi Babanawo. "We want to have one day that all those students become regular volleyball players specially under the big support for this project from the Ministry of Sport."
