2018 Men's U21 African Nations Championship- Drawing of lots

 
 Abuja, Nigeria, September 2018- The drawing of lots for the 2018 Men's U21 African Nations Championship was done in presence of CAVB President Dr Amr Elwani in Abuja, Nigeria on Tuesday.
 
 Organisers Nigeria drawn in Pool A along with giants Tunisia, up and coming Cameroon and rising Rwanda in the stronger side.
 
 Defending champions Egypt topped pool B to line up against Morocco, RD Congo and Chad.
 
 The top two teams of each pool will proceed to the semifinal where the winners qualify for the World Championship of this age category to be held in Bahrain in 2019. Africa has 2 slot in the FIVB prestigious competition.
