Nairobi, Kenya, May 9, 2012- A record of 18 clubs will be starting the 2012 Women’s African Club Championship that gets underway on Thursday at Kasarani and Nazarene University Halls in Nairobi, Kenya.
The drawing of lots was held on Wednesday attended by CAVB President Dr Amr Elwani and CAVB Vice President Wathiaka Kione who is also Kenya Volleyball Federation KVF President and CAVB Executive Director Mrs Howyda Mondy who did the drawing of lots where the teams were distributed to 4 preliminary Pools with Pool A and D comprising 4 teams each while Pools C and D include 5 teams.

Pool B: Varieties VB (GAB) - FAP (CMR) - Prisons (KEN) - Canon de Ndjili (COD)- Jeshi stars (TAN)
