FIVB President Ary Graça received by South Sinai Governor

 Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt, May 1, 2018 – The FIVB delegation led by the FIVB President, Dr. Ary S. Graça F° held a productive meeting with the governor of the South Sinai, Mayor of Sharm El Sheikh Khaled Fouda, ahead of the FIVB Executive Committee and Board of Administration meetings in Sharm Elsheikh on May 2 to 4, 2018.

 

The FIVB President was joined by FIVB Executive Vice-Presidents, the CAVB President Dr. Amr Elwani and the AVC President Dr. Saleh Ahmad Bin Nasser.

 

 After the meeting, Governor of South Sinai Khaled Fouda honoured the FIVB President Dr. Ary S. Graça F°with the Key of Sharm Elsheikh, the biggest order of the governorate.

 

 Beside the great efforts of South Sinai to host the FIVB Executive Committee and Board of Administration, the meeting discussed the development of volleyball and beach volleyball in Egypt.

 

The Egyptian governor and CAVB President Dr Amr Elwani expressed their strong interest in hosting beach volleyball events in Sharm El Sheikh, one of the most popular tourist destinations in Egypt.

 

FIVB President Ary Graça showed great welcome to the proposal. “Egypt, in general, has a good basis for both volleyball and beach volleyball and can host such great events."

 

Speaking ahead of the FIVB Executive Committee and Board of Administration meetings, the FIVB President added: “We are glad to be invited by the city of Sharm El Sheikh to have our meetings here from May 2-4, 2018. Egypt has all the facilities for a fruitful meeting.
