Smouha claim second historic bronze medal

 Cairo, Egypt, April 5, 2018- Egypt's Smouha claimed their second bronze medal in the history after they took on Swehly of Libya 3-2 (25-27, 25-21, 18-25, 29-27, 15-13) in the 2018 Men's African club championship at Ahly Hall in Cairo, Egypt on Thursday.

 

This is the second ever Bronze medal for the Egyptian team after 2016, while Swehly kept their fourth position in the last three edition.

 

 Swehly won the first set 27-25, before Smouha led by Adham Usama came back to draw 1-1. Swehly led back 2-1 and missed the match point in the fourth set before Smouha regained the rhythm to win the crucial set 29-27 and then the tiebreak 15-13.
