Nouakchott, Mauritania, May 4, 2012- Mauritania Volleyball Federation organized coaches course in Mauritania's capital of Nouakchott April 21 to 27 aiming at enhancing the Programme of volleyball at school in the east African country.
The course comes as a part of the CAVB Development strategy which works to improve the sport in some African countries in the field of referees, coaches and officials.
The one week course featured 29 participants including one female out of them there were 23 working coaches and 6 teachers of physical education.
The course was instructed by FIVB Instructor Moustafa Ahchouche from Morocco and passed in satisfactory conditions.
The final day of the course featured Cool Volley festival with the participation of 200 boys at the age of 12 y or less.
Mauritania big newspapers as well as the national TV covered the course events live specially during the Cool Volley festival.
"The level of the course was satisfactory specially from the teachers who wanted to use the course for enhancing the volleyball at school project," said the course instructor Ahchouche after the closure ceremony.
"Now Mauritania needs more like this course for the young coaches and the players to improve and become close to the continental level. I want also to thank the members of the federation for their hard work to bring the course to success.
