Lusaka City, Zambia, April 19, 2012 – Zambia completed a FIVB Volleyball Cooperation Programme Coaches Course in Lusaka City on Tuesday with 39 participants earning certificates.
FIVB Instructor Alemayehu Shoatatek Kassegne from Ethiopia took charge of the seven-day course and praised the organisation and facilities provided.
He also suggested that further steps should be made to help develop the sport further in Zambian schools and highlighted the success of a Cool Volley event held on Sunday.
The programme introduced over 70 boys and 60 girls under 12-years-old to volleyball and also gave participants on the VCP the chance to practice their new skills.
