Bangui, Central African Republic, April 10, 2012 – A FIVB Volleyball Cooperation Programme (VCP) Beach Volleyball Grassroots concluded in the Central African Republic on March 24, with a special video highlighting the course also uploaded to YouTube.
FIVB instructor Christian Didembourg from Belgium ran the course, which welcomed 29 participants from across the region.
There is a great desire to improve beach volleyball in the country according to Didembourg, who also added that the benefits of being able to set up a court almost anywhere is seen as a great benefit.
The course illustrated how much of a fundamental tool VCP’s are as they help less developed nations introduce the game in a simple but effective manner.
