Yaoundé, Cameroon, October 14, 2017- Egypt claim the bronze medal of the 2017 Women's African Championship's following their straight sets victory over Senegal (25-20, 25-19, 25-23) in the third place encounter at Palais des Sports Hall in Yaoundé, Cameroon on Saturday.

 

 Egypt gained their 4th bronze medal in the history of the competition while Senegal kept the fourth position they finished in the last edition in Kenya 2015.

 

 Egypt big gum Aya Elshamy was the winner's scorer with 11 points, while the efficient spiker Fatou Diouck was the scorer with 13 points.

 

 Egypt dominated the match through their dominance in areas of serving making 11/1 dominance in ace services, and Blocking making a superiority of 9-2 in kill blocks.
