Niamey, Niger, April 1, 2012- The Niger Youth girls and boys teams is taking part in Zone 3 African continental Qualifications for the World Beach volleyball Championships organized in Lome, Togo.
The team includes the girls pairing of Insa Roukaya\ Samira Abdu) and the boys Taleb Ibrahim\ Sanoussi Assoumane who prepared well through the final training session at the mobile beach located at the Stade General Seyni Kountche.
According to national coach, Yacouba Harouna, the selection of these young players took into account all the specificities of beach volleyball, while the preparation phase, which lasted nearly two months has improved their physical, technical and moral performance. This will be the first course of Niger's participation in an international tournament of beach volleyball in this category.
The President of the Niger Volleyball Federation “FENIVOLLEY” Issouf Badar has shown confidence about the preparations arranged by the federation for the zonal competition of beach volleyball at this young age. He took the opportunity to send the tribute to the President of the Republic Mahamadou Issoufou, who had personally invested to support FENIVOLLEY during recent competitions.
