Nigeria Beach VB prepares for Commonwealth Games

 Abuja, Nigeria, October 6, 2017- Nigerian National Beach Volleyball teams have been invited to participate at the Commonwealth games qualifiers holding at Sierra Leone between October 25 to 28, 2017.

 

As parts of the NVBF's preparations ahead of the Commonwealth qualifiers, the open trials for the beach Senior man and women teams to select players is scheduled to hold at Kaduna, Kaduna State between October 5 to 8, 2017.

 

According to a statement from the secretariat of NVBF and signed by the scribe of the federation, Adamu Maikano states that Camping will commence on the 11th- 23th Oct.,2017.

 

Speaking on the tournament, the president of Nigeria Volleyball federation, Musa Nimrod expressed optimism on the national men and women teams' qualification at the Commonwealth games qualifiers in Sierra Leone. He disclosed that the open trials will afford the newly discovered beach volleyball players to fight for shirts.

 

The competition is a qualifier for Common wealth games and scheduled to hold between 25th and 28th of Oct., 2017 in Sierra Leone.
