CAVB Board of Adminstaration meets 17 and 18 February in Cairo

Cairo, Egypt, February 14, 2012- The African Volleyball Confederation “CAVB” board of administration meets in Cairo on February 17- 18, 2012 in their first collection after the election of the new board during the CAVB Congress in Sudan December 2011 presided by Dr. Amr Elwani to put the outline of the African Activity map in the coming two years.
Among other important issues to be discussed in the meeting, the calendar of African volleyball and beach volleyball events in 2012 will be set including the men’s and women’s African club championships in April, the finals of the CAVB Beach volleyball Continental Cup in June and the four age group African Nations championships in August and September.
 The board will also set the new calendar for the 2012 CAVB courses which come as a part of the CAVB Strategic Plan which starts last year and concluded a great success in all its items including the coaches, referee and management courses all over the continent.
 The board will set also the formation of the CAVB Commission that will conduct the technical and developmental activity of African volleyball in the coming mandate.
