Four Women teams dream of the African Olympic berth

 Cairo, Egypt, February 1, 2012- The host Algeria as well as the African champions Kenya, the bronze medalists Egypt and the underdogs Seychelles will compete for the African slot at the 2012 London Olympic Games when they start together on Thursday the Olympic qualifying tournament in Blida, Algeria which last till February 4. The drawing of lots will be held on Wednesday at Mazafran of Zeralda Hotel in Alger to determine the schedule of the matches which will be held in a round robin format between the 4 participating teams during three successive days The four participating teams are previous African champions led by Kenya (7 titles), Egypt (3 titles), Algeria and Seychelles (1 continental title).    The drawing of lots will be supervised by members of the Confederation of African Volleyball, Vice President of CAVB Idriss Dokony (Chad), CAVB Technical Director Howyda Mondy (Egypt), Referee delegate Abdelmajid Djerad (Tunisia), VIS Hichem Sayed (Egypt), VIS and medical delegate Mamadou Ndoye (Senegal).    Algeria Volleyball Federation President Mustapha Lemouchi will hold a press conference before the ceremony then a press conference for the coaches will be organized after the drawing of lots  Francais Tournoi qualification au J.O 2012 zone Afrique dames à Blida Tirage au sort ce mercredi à19h00 à hôtel Mazafran de zeralda(Alger) La  réunion  technique  du tirage au sort du tournoi  préolympique de volley-ball seniors dame pour le rendez-vous londonien. 2012 prévus du 02 au 04 février 2012 à Blida se tiendront le mercredi 02 février 2012 a partir de 19h00 à l hôtel Mazafran de Zeralda (Alger)Quatre (4) sélections africaines dont l'Algérie (1 titre continental) ont confirmé leur participation à ce rendez-vous de Blida, il s'agit de  l'Egypte (3 titres) ,  le Kenya (7 titres) et les Seychelles (1titre) Cette  cérémonie sera supervise par les membres de la confédération africaines de volleyball, Idriss Dokony (Tchad)  vice-président  de  la cavb ;:Mondy Howyda (Egypte) directrice technique ; Abdelmajid Djerad (Tunisie) Commission  d'arbitrage;  Hichem (Egypte) VIS informatique et  Mamadou (Sénégal ) contrôle anti dopage
