CAVB Board prior to the 2011 Congress

Cairo, Egypt, December 6, 2011- The African volleyball Confederation “CAVB” will meet on Wednesday at Corinthia Hotel in Sudanese capital of Khartoum to prepare for the 2011 elective Congress due to held on December 8 and 9.
The meeting headed by CAVB President Dr Amr Elwani will finalize all the issues required for a successful CAVB Congress that will complete the formation of the volleyball leaders all over the world after the other confederations already finished their elections early this year.
Among other issues the most import items of the Agenda will be the final approval of the Congress file including the list of candidature for the elections in the different positions as well as discussing the financial report since the last board meeting since last June.
On the other hand CAVB officials will be receiving the guests of honour later on Wednesday led by the FIVB President Jizhong Wei, NORCECA President Cristóbal Marte, CEV President André Meyer, CSV President Ary Graca who were invited to attend the big African event.
The African Zone V had their ordinary meeting on Tuesday headed by Captain Emad Othman attended by representatives from Sudan, Kenya, Uganda, Burundi, Tanzania, Egypt, Eretria, Ethiopia and Rwanda.
