Cameroon will be great favourites at home for the African Olympic ticket

Cairo, Egypt, November 26, 2011- The African Volleyball Confederation “CAVB” granted the organization of the Men’s African Olympic Qualification to Cameroon 12 to 22 January 2012. The event will be qualifying to the 2012 London Olympic Games where the champions of this competition will secure a ticket to the Olympics. The prestigious event will attract all the big forces in the continent specially the 4 time African Champions, Egypt who represent the continent now in the FIVB World Cup and the host Cameroon who finished second in the last African nations Championship in Morocco 2011. Among other favourites for the Olympic ticket are the African Bronze medalists Tunisia and their neighbours Algeria Egypt represented the continent in the last Olympic Games in Beijing 2008 while Tunisia had that honour in Athens 2004.     The competition will be the first continental event to be held newly established Hall In the capital Yaoundé.
