Dr Elwani Honoured by Tunisian Minster of spoets

Sousse, Tunisia, Match 19, 2015- FIVB Executive Vice President and CAVB President Dr Amr Elwani was honoured by the Tunisian Ministry of Youth and Sports in recognition for his efforts to develop Volleyball in the continent.


 During the closing ceremony for the 2015 Men's African Club Championship, The Tunisian Minister Maher Ben Diaa honoured Elwani honoured Elwani with the highest order of the Ministry.


 The 2015 edition for the supreme competition in CAVB Volleyball, the minister of Sports thanked Elwani for the great efforts done by the CAVB Headquarters and its president Dr Elwani to bring the competition with the full success in presence of a record number of teams (24 clubs).


 He also appreciated the great development of Volleyball in Africa in the last few year and its reflect of the attraction of new teams from countries without history of participation in this competition like Cape Verde and Zimbabwe.
