Under FIVB Supervision:
Successful coaches course Level I and II in Egypt with 75 Participants

Cairo, Egypt, February 8-: Under supervision of the International Volleyball Governing body (FIVB) and the good organization of the Egyptian Volleyball Federation (FEVB), the Olympic Complex Center in Cairo showed one of the most successful coaches courses for level I and II in January 2006. The Course was directed by FIVB Coaches commission President Mr. Yury Chesnokov. The instructors were Mr. Jivko Jetchev for level II course and Mr. Zoheer Ammar and Sherif El- Shemerly for level I course.
75 coaches participated in this course and showed a 100% success at the end of the course. “We are happy to see this quality of success in such kind of courses in presence of those highly experienced FIVB instructors,” Said the President of the course Organizing Committee, Mr. Hassan Ahmed. “We want to thank FIVB and its President Dr. Ruben Acosta for their support to bring this course to full success and this will help us to promote our sport all through the continent.” He added.
The course was covered by many media specially the TV Channels and the big daily newspapers. Egyptian Nile Sports Channel made a live interview with Mr. Chesnokov and CAVB and FEVB President, Dr. Amr Elwani where Chesnokov expressed his confidence with the standard of the course and the good organization. Dr. Elwani thanked Dr. Acosta on Air and ensured the full support of all African National Federations to Dr. Acosta in the next FIVB congress due to his great help to the continent during his presidency.
National TV News made also a live interview with Mr. Hassan Ahmed where he expressed his satisfaction with the results and performance of the participants.
A special seminar with the instructors in the Olympic Complex hall was held as they received many questions from the coaches and media on how to develop the sport in the high class level.
