2008 Men’s Junior African Nations Championship in Tunisia August 2008 Cairo, Egypt, June 27, 2008- The African Volleyball Confederation CAVB entrusted Tunisia Volleyball Federation to organize the 13th Men’s Junior African Nations Championship 23- 30 August 2008 in Tunis, Tunisia. This competition will qualify to the FIVB World Championship of this age category in 2009. The players born on 1st January 1989 or after are eligible to participate in this competition and the 2009 FIVB Junior Men under 21 World Championship, if qualified. .According to the FIVB decision concerning the registration or participation in the FIVB World Competitions; the national teams are not allowed to register or participate in the FIVB Competitions unless they participate in the African Competitions in the same category. The deadline of participation of the African competition will be 25th July 2008. In the meantime, to confirm the final Participation, CAVB and the organizer should be provided the entry form, 0-2 Form and flight details before 15th August 2008. All the forms and invitation letter are available in the CAVB web site www.cavb.org It is well known that the last African championship of this age category was organized in Morocco 2006 where the champions Egypt along with the organizers of the World Championship Morocco already qualified to the 2007 FIVB Men’s Junior Championship in 2007.
