Egypt Bronze
Medalist Abuja, Nigeria, September 14-: Egypt won the Bronze medal of the fifteenth Women's African Nations Championship here in the indoor Hall of the National Stadium of Abuja, Nigeria after their thriller victory over Tunisia in a five sets match on Tuesday. The match was fantastic and full of volleyball skills as Egypt came from two sets behind to claim 3-2 victory (22-25, 25-27, 25-21, 25-17, 15-9) in two hours of emotions. Cameroon claimed the fifth position defeating Morocco in straight sets (25-20, 25-12, 25-20). Morocco was ranked sixth ahead of Botswana who defeated Cote d'Ivoire 3-0 (25-9, 25-12, 25-16) to occupy the seventh position leaving Cote d'Ivoire in the eighth and last position. |
