MEN'S AFRICAN OLYMPIC QUALIFICATION-
DAY FOUR
EGYPT AND TUNISIA AGAIN FOR THE SWEET SPOT


Tunis, Tunisia, January 9-: The biggest volleyball schools in Africa, Tunisia and Egypt will again compete for the final sweet spot for Olympic ticket as they both had their second successive victory over South Africa and Algeria respectively in the fourth day of African Olympic Qualification tour held in Palai sports Menzah Hall in the Tunisian capital. The big clash will be the final match, Saturday to determine the African representent in Athens Olympics 2004.

In one of the best matches in the qualifications Egypt had a second victory over Algeria in straight sets 25-22, 29-27, 25-15. The young emerging players Ahmed Salah and Abdalla Abdelsalam, Both 19 years old represent the youth team in the last Men's U-21 World Championship and were the surprise of the match as they saved the second set which was near the Algerians. Ahmed Salah did well by his hits from position 2, while Abdalla had 5 aces with his strong services.

Tunisan stars led by the experienced Noureddine Hfeiehh and the young star Gara Mourad led their team to a comfortable victory over South Africa in straight sets 25-19, 25-18, 25-10. This was their second victory to lead the competition with Egypt, leaving Algeria third and South Africa fourth.
