EGYPT AND
TUNISIA CONTINUED VICTORIES
Durban, South Africa, September 30-: Egypt continued the victory
rhythm after their third in raw over Algeria in straight sets
(25-21, 25-23, 25-10) in the third day of Boys U-19 African
Nations Championship in Durban, South Africa.
Tunisia had the second victory over Sudan 3-0 (25-17, 25-13,
26-24) to regain the spirit to have a place in 2005 Boys U-19
World Championship, expected to be hosted by Algeria.
Two African teams will qualify through this competition with a
third place for the African organizer.
In the first match, the efficient Egyptian spikes made it easy
to penetrate the Algerian defense to have the third victory and
lead the five nations’ competition. In the second match Tunisia
regained their spirit after their defeat against Egypt in the
second day to have an easy straight sets over Sudan after
predominance of all net actions.
