2003 AFRICAN WOMEN'S NATIONS CHAMPIONSHIP
EGYPT AND KENYA SWEEP TO FINAL

Egypt and Kenya women teams reached as expected to the final of the 14th African Women's Nations Championship in Nairobi, Kenya to meet again in the final on Saturday August 23, after they met in the preliminary Pool A in the first round as Egypt clinched a narrow win 3-2.
Egypt defeated Algeria in the first semifinal after 98 minutes of fantastic volleyball 3-2 (21-25, 25-19, 25-18, 18-25, 15-10), while kenya had a straight win over Cameroon 3-0 (25-12, 25-17, 25-21) in 69 minutes.
Tunisia won the fifth place as they clinched a 3-0 win over Seychelles (26-24, 25-18, 30-28) to leave the losers in the sixth place.
RD Congo got the seventh place after they defeated Senegal 3-2 (28-26, 25-22, 23-15, 18-25, 15-12) to leave the last place for senegal
