THREE TEAMS COMPETE FOR WORLD CUP SPOT
Abuja, Nigeria, October 14-: Three African teams will enter the competition for a Women U-20 World Championship vacancy when they meet in the 10th African Nations Championship in Abuja Nigeria. The competition was supposed to include RD Congo and the defending champions, Algeria but with their last minute withdrawal the competition will include only three teams; last competition vice- champion, Egypt, the organizers, Nigeria and the emerging, Senegal.
The CAVB will ask FIVB to get the approval considering the competition as qualifying to the 2005 Women U-20 World Championship as the number is less than the minimum of four teams according to the rules
