AGAZA WON BOTH MEN AND WOMEN VOLLEY
Agaza team of Togo Capital won both men and women
competitions this season in Lome governorate. 5 teams
shared in the women competition and 7 teams in men’s
championship
In women competition Agaza won the four matches to gain
8 points, while in men competition they gained 12 points
defeating the other 6 teams. The final ranking was as
follows:
Women competition:
1.Agaza8 points
2.As Douanes 7 pts
3. Bulls 6 pts
4. Etoile Filante 5 pts
5. Winners 4 pts
Men competition
1. Agaza 12 pts
2.Etoile Filante 10 pts (14 sets won/ 07 lost= 2)
3. As Douanes 10 pts (14 sets won /08 lost =1,75 and 515
pts/417= 1,235)
4. Bulls10 pts (14 sets won/ 08 sets lost= 1,75 and 530
pts / 444= 1,193)
5. Winners 08 pts

SAP PROGRAMME IN KARA
Kara City (420 Km to the north of the Capital Lomé) will
host the FIVB supervised SAP Programme from 25 to 31
August.
The coarse will include young players from all the clubs
of Togo, as it will be one of the Togo Volleyball
Federation projects to develop the local standard to the
international level.
TOUR TO DEVELOP WOMEN VOLLEYBALL
As Douanes Club will organize a local volleyball Tour
for women in Kara City From 27 to 29 current juin. This
tour will be held to develop Togo women volleyball after
the good advance in the last few years.
This tour will include two women teams from Lomé, Bulls
and As douanes, and for men competition Bulls, Dapaong,
Kara and Sokodé will participate.
2 WOMEN TEAMS OF TOGO IN BENIN TOUR
Togo will participate in an international women
volleyball tour in Bénin 2 to 5 July 2003.
Two women teams will represent Togo, As Douanes and
Agaza in the International competition known to be held
in Cotonou, the Bénin Capital. University team of
Burkina Faso will also share in the tour with at least
three teams from the host country.
